Liquid nitrogen sample storage tank is used to store biologic, genomic, and diagnostic samples in liquid nitrogen (-196°C to -210°C). Our MVE XC (extra capacity) series aluminum dewars provide long term secure storage with low liquid nitrogen consumption in a convenient lightweight package. The MVE XC Series tanks have capacities ranging from 700–5000 straws, and 210 to over 1000 vials. While our MVE CryoSystem Series combines the benefits of low nitrogen consumption with midrange vial capacity to meet the diverse needs of today’s professionals worldwide. The lightweight and low-space demands of these containers make them the most economical units in their class.

Liquid nitrogen storage tank, also known as cryo storage dewar (named after James Dewar) is a specialized type of flask designed to store and handle liquid nitrogen safely and easily. Our MVE Lab Series liquid nitrogen storage tank are high-efficiency,super insulated dewars that provides the most convenient, economical way to store and dispense liquid nitrogen. Many lab units can be fitted with pouring spouts, pressurized dispensing devices or dippers to aid in the transfer of liquid nitrogen.

Liquid nitrogen storage tanks is designed to safely transport biological samples at cryogenic (-150°C or colder) temperatures. Our MVE Research Dewars are developed specifically for easy and safe handling of liquid nitrogen and samples within facilities. These units are vacuum insulated for superior thermal performance and long hold times. Our MVE CryoShipper Series comes standard with advanced QWick technology that absorbs liquid nitrogen and charges the CryoShippers in under two hours. Manufactured from lightweight durable aluminum these containers offer dry, spill-free vapour shipping which allows them to be sent with a ‘non-hazardous’ classification anywhere in the world.
