ATP Sanitation, Hygiene & Environment monitoring systems determine the presence or growth of microorganisms like bacteria, E. Coli, and more! ATP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate which is an energy molecule found in living things. Thus, by testing the presence of ATP on the surface, it can tell how clean a surface is.
ATP tests are mainly used in the food industry for food distribution and have become a standard cleanliness industry as well.
Rapid Test Kit
ATP rapid test kits detect protein residue without requiring any equipment. Our AccuClean Advanced system contains reagents housed in a fully self-contained cartridge that once activated, changes color to indicate the relative level of protein detected on a sampled surface.
After 10 seconds, the remaining solution is then compared to a color comparison chart for interpretation. If no protein is detected, the solution in the bottom of the cup will remain copper-colored to indicate the surface is clean. A color change to gray indicates low-level protein has been detected, while a change to green/blue or blue indicates a higher level of protein detected.
An ATP meter is a luminometer that measures weak emissions of visible light coming from a sample by means of a photomultiplier tube. An ATP luminometer is easy to operate and the immediate results allow analyzing the situation immediately on site
Our NEOGEN®'s new AccuPoint® Advanced Next Generation (NG) is a complete sanitation monitoring system comprising a handheld instrument, innovative samplers, and data manager software, designed to verify your cleaning processes by conducting adenosine triphosphate ATP tests on surfaces and rinses water samples.
Our AccuPoint® Advanced Sanitation Verification System is a handheld ATP reader that can be used for ATP tests on surfaces and rinses water samples. A total of 3 different samples are available, depending on the application, for surface testing, rinse water testing, and narrow openings (e.g. small pipes, fill nozzles). As the first sanitation verification device to be approved by the AOAC Research Institute, the use of AccuPoint Advanced provides customers assurance that the system produces consistent and reliable data for evaluating sanitation program effectiveness in food processing and food services facilities. In addition, the approval follows a recent study conducted by NSF International that showed AccuPoint Advanced exceeded the performance of competitive systems on the market — further adding to the robustness of the device.
Since ATP is not evenly distributed on surfaces, Neogen’s AccuPoint® Advanced Advanced Sampler sampling pad and chemistry are designed to recover and detect small amounts of ATP. The patented flat head sampler ensures maximum recovery of ATP. Also, the design helps ensure that all recovered ATP gets converted to signal by having the needed reagents in close proximity. The sturdy wand of the swab architecture allows for necessary pressure to be applied to breaks through biofilm.
ATP Data Manager
AccuPoint Advanced’s Data Manager software allows users to streamline the testing process by quickly creating test plans, syncing important data, and keeping a permanent record of sanitation results to verify SSOPs for audit compliance.
