Assistant Channel Sales Manager

Position Overview

The Assistant Channel Sales Manager is responsible over management and expansion of relationships and sales within our Dealer network. He/She will be a key person in leading the Dealer Division which represents a select range of our company brands; will be providing support, advice and updates; bridging the communication within our network of Dealers.

Position Summary:

The holder of this position is responsible for managing and growing dealer sales within Malaysia. Main responsibilities are product focused sales planning, marketing & forecasting, providing prompt feedback and service/support to our Dealers, meeting Dealers and creating new business relationships, and growing the business in existing and new Dealers by promoting our Brands and products.

Key Responsibilities:

Product focused sales planning, marketing & forecasting

  • Develops and implements product focused marketing and sales plans that aim to promote and grow sales within our Dealer network
  • Communicates updates and market changes from Dealers and from this, plan how we can improve our relationships and grow the Dealer network
  • Ability to monitor, analyze and report back sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes or developments.
  • Provides feedback and implements systems to improve our Dealer network by working with our team of technical support, service and sales

Providing prompt feedback, service & support to our Dealers

  • Responds effectively to Dealer requests, resolves critical issues and meets all commitments in a timely manner
  • Be the go-to person for our dealer network, handles daily dealer product inquiry, issue quotations and provides technical product advice

Meeting Dealers and creating new business relationships

  • To regularly meet with our Dealers to grow strong business relationships, promote key products and to communicate promotions & technical updates
  • Acts as a technical product advisor to Dealers during joint visits with customers and end users; and provides product training through our Dealer network
  • To work closely with our in-house sales and technical support team to ensure market updates are shared

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Biomed, Molecular Biology, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Scientific Sales field, preferably with channels and/ or distributors
  • Effective communicator (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to represent the company well to our Dealer network
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational skills
  • High customer orientation
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Manage complex internal relationships
  • Works with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude with strong team spirit
  • Listen actively, communicates openly
  • Product and technical training will be provided, we stress upon proper guidance and personal growth

Technical Sales Specialist – Research Division

Job Description:

  • This Role is within our Life Science, Tissue Culture & Cryogenics Division
  • The Technical Sales Specialist, is a field sales position responsible for the sales and business development in Central region
  • The position manages the sales our current portfolio of Research customers which includes all major Public & Private Universities, R&D Centers and Government Institutions
  • Mentorship, Technical Training and Sales Coaching will be provided to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to comprehend and utilize product features, benefits and applications to successfully promote Company products
  • This role will recognize you as a technical go-to for selected Brands, and will progress on as you develop and lead to further grow the Brand in Malaysia. He/She will be responsible in maintaining and building excellent business relationships with selected Brand suppliers, provide on-site technical advice to our customers, and in-house updates to our team
  • The Technical Sales Specialist would consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan by maintaining existing business, developing incremental business in existing accounts, working independently to grow new business and drive team growth by providing your technical input

Assistant Marketing Executive (Science Field)

Position Overview

As a result of our continuing growth, we now have an immediate requirement for an Assistant Marketing Executive to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Assistant Marketing Executive uses his/her strong Science background together with a creative thinking to develop and execute product positioning, campaigns and respective programs that will enable us to grow our market share and brands of our focused divisions. Product and technical training will be provided, we stress upon proper guidance and personal growth.

Position Summary:

  • To support our Head of Sale Divisions with their sales and branding campaigns, establish and ensure workflows are up to date
  • Work with Head of Sale Divisions on product branding and marketing ideas/strategies
  • Utilize creativity and designing skills to produce graphic marketing material such as poster, flyers, banners, catalogue, etc.
  • Support the Marketing Executive in the production of related presentations & videos
  • Support the Marketing Executive in the annual marketing planning (activities, merchandise item, etc.)
  • Update & organize official company website & social media
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of workshop, seminar, training, roadshow & exhibition

Experience/Skills required:

  • Posses a Bachelor degree or any equivalent qualification preferably in Science related field (Biotechnology/Genetics/Microbiology/Biology, etc)
  • Preferably candidates: Fresh graduates/ Have experience in similar role/ Have experience working in Science related field
  • Knowledge of print and digital marketing communications tools and techniques and related developments like social media and campaign marketing
  • Project management skills, especially the ability to work within set deadlines
  • Attention to detail & ability to work independently as well as part of the team
  • Experience and affinity with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in design and video editing software: Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Cyberlink Power Director, Windows Movie Maker, etc.
  • Effective communicator (both written and spoken) with a strong command of English
  • Works with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude with strong team spirit
